The Stardom Stardom SR3610-FireWire800 offers completely integrated high-performance controller and data-protection capabilities (RAID1), which meet the performance and features of a higher range storage products at an entry-level price. Most important completely independant from the host computer.

The Stardom Stardom SR3610-FireWire800 RAID subsystem offers features only seen in much higher end products like: Array roaming which stores configuration information both in NVRAM and on the disk drives which protects the configuration settings in the case of a disk drive or controller failure. Array roaming allows the administrators the ability to move a complete HD RAID set to another system without losing RAID configuration and data on that RAID set.
