The latest 3Gb/sec SATA II performance combined with the fastest XIO2213 1394b(FireWire800) native PCIe chipset. - ALL IN ONE -. This Powerhouse PCIe card is based on SiI 3132 and the Texas Instruments XIO2213 chipset, with drivers(no extra drivers needed for FireWire) available for the MacOSX 10.4.x, Windows, Linux and Novell Netware operating systems for both RAID(eSATA ports only) and non-RAID operations. The Fusion Pro PCIe x4 host bus adapter is designed for optimum performance and connectivity- and with eSATA, it supports multiple commands for each port which are loaded into on-chip memory eliminating the need for host CPU intervention and minimizing PCIe bus usage. Command execution engines dramatically reduce latency between commands, ensuring that drives stay fully loaded with queued commands.
